Richard actively pursues subjects that interest him for freelance magazine, newspaper and internet articles. They could be how-to pieces, something new in science or medicine, a company or personal profile, and educational article, or just some interesting human interest feature. Occasionally, he writes commentary for local newspapers.
He writes regularly on the film and video production industry for the Colorado Film & Video Association, on health care for The Care Group, P.C., and on amateur radio as editor for the quarterly newsletter published by the Colorado QRP Club.
